Developing the
Internal Iron Head Technique
It is essential that you train with one or two partners when developing the Iron Head Technique. In the picture below, Grandmaster Howard demonstrates his secret training method. One partner is applying just enough pressure to desensitize the head and cultivate the internal energy to the skull. The other partner holds the practitioner in place to ensure that the correct meridians are activated during the training session. The most important thing to remember is that you must remain relaxed during the session to obtain optimum training benefits.

The picture below is an example of improper training by a poorly trained practitioner. Notice that his spine is curved, his shoulders improperly raised, and the head is in an unnatural position. The practitioner also does not give the appearance of relaxation essential to progress to the highest levels.

Grandmaster Howard’s training innovations extended beyond the Internal Iron Head Technique. Here, we see his use of technology to improve iron palm training.

Applying Long Duk
Dong Training Liniment
After Internal Iron Head Training, Grandmaster Howard applied a specially formulated training liniment called Long Duk Dong. This liniment was made with 25 different Chinese herbs, oregano, cheese, oil, and vinegar. After applying the liniment, he did not wash his head for at least 12 hours. Because of the unique odor, as an added benefit, this method also served as an effective form of birth control.

Fighting Applications
of the Internal Iron Head Technique
Below is a perfect example of the sophisticated internal fighting applications of the Iron Head Technique. Notice that the Grandmaster Howard is in a deep meditative state, and his mind and body are unaware that the boxer is prepared to hit him with an unsophisticated external boxing technique. Such techniques, which depend on mere muscular strength, are no match for the Master of the Internal Iron Head Technique.

Practitioners of the Internal Iron Head Technique claim that they are impervious to bullets and other projectiles. Grandmaster Howard demonstrates the highest level of skill in Internal Iron Head Training by allowing a cannonball to be shot at his Iron Head.
